Donald Trump faces legal setbacks over Kennedy Center and mail-in voting

President Donald Trump has faced two significant legal setbacks regarding his administration's objectives. On Tuesday, a judge ruled that his name cannot be displayed on the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Judge Christopher Cooper stated that the administration is prohibited from inscribing “Renovated and restored by Donald Trump” on the main building without Congressional approval.

This follows a Supreme Court decision on Monday that rejected an administration appeal seeking stricter regulations on mail-in voting ahead of the crucial November midterm elections.

Political tensions remain high as the Republican Party faces unfavorable polling for the upcoming congressional elections. Allies of the President, including House Speaker Mike Johnson, have warned that a Democratic majority in the new Congress could lead to intense investigations into the current administration's domestic and foreign policies.
