Donald Trump grants clemency to 30 individuals
President Donald Trump granted clemency to 30 individuals on Thursday, according to White House pardon czar Alice Marie Johnson. The group of recipients includes people convicted of drug, bribery, and firearms offenses.
Among those granted clemency is Emory Jones, a longtime associate of Jay-Z and an executive at Roc Nation. Jones had previously served nearly 16 years in federal prison on drug charges. Other recipients identified include a former union leader from Philadelphia convicted of bribery and a former Navy sailor imprisoned for firearms offenses.
Since the beginning of his second term in January 2025, President Trump has granted pardons and commutations to more than 1,700 people.
