Donald Trump health report: doctors advise weight loss and more exercise

White House physicians reported that 79‑year‑old President Donald Trump is in overall good health after his latest annual medical examination. The memorandum from physician Sean Barabbela highlighted a strong heart, lungs, neurological and cognitive function, noting that Trump scored a perfect 30 on the Montreal cognitive test. His resting heart rate was 73 beats per minute and his cardiac age was estimated about 14 years younger than his chronological age.

The doctors also noted a modest increase in weight to roughly 108 kg and a slight swelling in his lower leg, which they attributed to chronic venous insufficiency and frequent handshakes, mitigated by low‑dose aspirin therapy. They recommended continued weight loss, a healthier diet, regular physical activity, and ongoing monitoring of cholesterol and blood‑pressure medications. Trump publicly described the check‑up as “perfect” on his social platform.
