Donald Trump holds campaign rally in Durant, Oklahoma

Donald Trump held a campaign rally at the Choctaw Event Center in Durant, Oklahoma, marking his first appearance in the state since 2020. Due to severe weather that prevented his plane and helicopter from landing, Trump traveled by car from Denton, Texas, to reach the event.

During his remarks, Trump focused on economic growth, manufacturing, and domestic energy production. He highlighted the importance of investment in new factories and criticized policies that restrict oil and gas development. He also discussed a planned aluminum manufacturing facility in Oklahoma that could create significant local jobs.

Trump used the platform to endorse several Republican candidates, including U.S. Senate candidate Kevin Hern and gubernatorial candidate Mike Mazzei. He urged voters to participate in the upcoming November 3 midterm elections, emphasizing the need to maintain Republican control in Congress and supporting candidates in competitive races across other states.
