Donald Trump holds rally in Fort Myers, Florida

During a rally in Fort Myers, Florida, on October 23, 2026, Donald Trump addressed a large crowd and expressed frustration regarding the venue size. He stated that the crowd outside the arena was two to three times larger than the capacity inside, remarking that he was “angry” with his staff for not securing a larger venue to accommodate the attendees.

Trump also used the event to campaign against Democrat Angie Nixon, warning Florida voters about her political platform. He characterized her as a member of the Democrat Socialists of America and criticized her stated positions, which include abolishing the U.S. Senate and the Supreme Court, defunding the police, and providing free healthcare to illegal aliens.
