Three died when an Iranian missile struck sleeping quarters at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, and the fourth was killed in Iraq during a controlled detonation of an Iranian drone.

Trump was accompanied by Defense commentator Pete Hegseth, Joint Chiefs chairman Gen. Dan Caine, and Senators Thom Tillis and Chris Coons. He told families, “We love you. We love your child,” and pledged to remember the troops.
