Donald Trump Jr. campaigns for Byron Donalds in Hialeah

Donald Trump Jr. joined Republican gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds at a get-out-the-vote rally in Hialeah on Thursday night. The event, held at Hialeah Park, is part of Donalds’ statewide bus tour titled “Defending the Florida Dream,” which aims to drive voter turnout in the final days before the November 3 election.

Donalds, a U.S. House member from Naples, is running to succeed term-limited Governor Ron DeSantis and faces Democrat David Jolly. During the rally, speakers expressed optimism about Republican leads in the polls but also cautioned about tight margins. Florida Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia noted that current polling is closer than the campaign would prefer.

The rally featured several Republican figures, including lieutenant governor candidate Bryan Avila, U.S. Senator Ashley Moody, and Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier. The campaign has focused on themes of affordability, public safety, and maintaining Republican-led policies across the state.
