Trump’s legal team contends the case is flawed and suggests that James may be withholding key evidence, specifically communications involving former lawyer Michael Cohen. Cohen, who previously served as a witness for the prosecution in related criminal matters, recently claimed in a Substack article that he felt ‘pressured and coerced’ during meetings with lawyers from the Attorney General’s office to provide testimony that satisfied government objectives.
