Donald Trump links SAVE America Act to FISA renewal

The SAVE America Act, which would require proof of U.S. citizenship and a photo ID to register to vote in federal elections, passed the House but stalled in the Republican‑controlled Senate, blocked by four GOP senators and opposition from some Democrats. Trump tied the voting‑integrity bill to the FISA extension as leverage, urging both parties to act and criticizing Democrats for opposing the nominee for acting director of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Bill Pulte.
