Donald Trump’s Health Report Scrutinized for Missing Cardiac Details

President Donald Trump has not made a public appearance for seven days, and a White House medical memo released after his three‑hour visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center declared him “in excellent health.” The memorandum cited an AI‑enhanced electrocardiogram, coronary CT angiography, echocardiogram and carotid ultrasound, stating his cardiac age as 65 and noting no arterial obstruction.

Independent physicians who reviewed the three‑page report said it omitted critical cardiac information. Vascular surgeon Dr. William Shutze called the document “almost too good to be true,” noting the absence of a calcium score, plaque measurements and a CAD‑RADS classification normally required to assess coronary artery disease. Other doctors highlighted the missing ejection‑fraction figure from the echocardiogram and details about carotid plaque. The memo’s lack of these specifics has raised questions about the completeness of the assessment despite the White House’s assertion that the president is fully fit for duty.
