President Donald Trump met with executives from major casino and tourism companies at the White House to discuss a strategy for significantly increasing international visitor numbers. The meeting, held in the Oval Office, included representatives from MGM Resorts International, Caesars Entertainment, and Hard Rock.

The administration aims to leverage the momentum of the 2026 FIFA World Cup to reach a target of 100 million international tourists per year, a figure comparable to France. This initiative follows a decline in U.S. tourism in 2025, when the country received 68.3 million foreign visitors, representing a 5.5% annual decrease.
