Donald Trump offers UFC CEO Dana White White House press secretary role

President Donald Trump has offered the position of White House press secretary to UFC CEO Dana White. In a Truth Social post on November 7, 2026, Trump described White as a “violent Fighter and Warrior” and suggested he would be uniquely suited to defend the administration against political opponents.

Trump also proposed that White bring a team of MMA fighters as assistants, including Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes, and Kayla Harris. The president acknowledged that some of these individuals are not American citizens.

It remains unclear if White will accept the offer or how it might affect his role at the UFC. The vacancy follows the recent removal of Katie Zacharia, who held the press secretary position for less than a week after a series of difficult press conferences.
