Donald Trump posts AI video dubbing critics “Trump Derangement Syndrome”

U.S. President Donald Trump shared a 90‑second AI‑generated video on Truth Social that portrays him as “Dr. Trump” offering a treatment for the self‑coined “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” The clip features synthetic versions of Hollywood figures—including Julia Roberts, Robert De Niro, Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O’Donnell, John Leguizamo and Edward Norton—who appear to endorse the fictional remedy. One AI “patient” says, “I have been suffering for over a decade, and after listening to Dr. Trump, I can see some results.” Trump concludes with the advice: “Turn off fake news, say your prayers, and if you ever feel anxious, just have a Diet Coke like me.”

The video was posted in early July 2026 alongside official posts highlighting administration achievements and a new presidential aircraft from Qatar. It adds to a series of AI‑altered content the president has circulated, some of which has drawn criticism and been removed after public backlash.
