Donald Trump praises Claudia Sheinbaum during Arizona rally

During a campaign rally in Arizona, U.S. President Donald Trump praised Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, describing her as an elegant woman with “the most beautiful voice.”

Trump recalled a telephone conversation held with Sheinbaum regarding the proposal to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the “Gulf of America.” He noted that he has expressed these compliments to her directly, while acknowledging the political sensitivity of such remarks. He remarked, “I hope that is not insulting. You know, now, if you say this, it is considered a great insult and that means the end of your political career.”
