Trump Ohio rally: Protester attacked by supporter

During a campaign rally at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio, a female protester wearing a shirt that read “Release the Epstein Files” was physically attacked by at least two men. Video footage shows a male attendee shoving the woman to the ground, striking her in the face, and pulling her by her hair.

President Donald Trump observed the incident from the stage and responded by mocking the protester. He claimed without evidence that the individual was a “paid protester” sent by political opponents to disrupt the event and made disparaging remarks regarding the person's weight.

Law enforcement, including the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office and the Secret Service, intervened to escort the woman from the venue. While local officials condemned the incident as “senseless political violence,” authorities noted that no criminal charges were immediately filed as the victim did not report injuries or file a formal complaint at the scene. The event took place as Trump campaigned for Republican candidates in upcoming midterm elections.
