Donald Trump receives boos at Tennessee vs. Texas football game

President Donald Trump was met with audible boos from attendees during his appearance at a college football game between the Tennessee Volunteers and the Texas Longhorns at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Before the matchup, the president participated in a pregame Air Force One flyover. He was introduced over the stadium intercom and shown on the Jumbotron while seated next to gubernatorial candidate Marsha Blackburn. Despite the mixed reception of cheers and boos, the president did not publicly endorse either team. The Texas Longhorns ultimately won the game with a score of 20-17.

Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian had previously noted the potential for logistical disruptions caused by the president's presence, stating that if the president were to leave early, team communications could be cut off without warning.
