Ron DeSantis presents commemorative coin to Donald Trump in Florida

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis met President Donald Trump on the tarmac at a Southwest Florida airport on Friday to present him with a commemorative gold coin. The coin features an image of Trump making an obscene gesture accompanied by the phrase “You missed, b**ches!”, a reference to the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Following the greeting, Trump held a campaign rally at Florida Gulf Coast University. During the event, Trump encouraged supporters to vote, stating, “Just get out and vote. If they vote, we’re gonna win big.” He also used the platform to support Republican candidates, including Senator Ashley Moody and Representative Byron Donalds.

DeSantis highlighted shifting voter registration trends in Florida as a sign of Republican momentum, noting that the state now has 1.5 million more registered Republicans than Democrats. He emphasized that voter turnout would be a decisive factor in both Florida and upcoming competitive Senate races.
