Donald Trump reveals secret aircraft switch due to security threats
Donald Trump has revealed that he secretly switched aircraft following the NATO summit in Ankara this past July due to security concerns. US officials indicated that security agencies had received credible information regarding a potential threat, specifically a possible missile attack on the presidential plane.
To evade the threat, Trump initially boarded the standard Air Force One but was subsequently moved via a catering vehicle to a smaller C-32A aircraft. The original Air Force One departed as a decoy, carrying journalists and other staff members to RAF Mildenhall in the UK, while Trump flew separately on the C-32A.
Separately, new allegations have emerged regarding the origin of Trump’s new Boeing 747-8 jet. Former CIA agent John Kiriakou claims that Trump personally requested the aircraft as a gift from the Qatari ruling house during a trip to the Gulf. While Qatar declared the plane a gift to the American people, reports suggest the Qatari royals were offended by the request. The initial conversion of the aircraft cost an estimated 400 million dollars.
