Donald Trump revives controversial immigration remarks in Georgia rally
During a campaign rally in Perry, Georgia, President Donald Trump revived his previous “shithouse countries” remark regarding immigration. He suggested that the United States should prioritize immigrants from Nordic nations, specifically naming Norway, Sweden, and Denmark, rather than from countries he described as “terror infested,” such as Libya, Yemen, Haiti, and Somalia.
Trump made several other claims during the event, including an allegation against Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar regarding fraud. He also criticized the Somali community in the U.S., claiming that the vast majority do not work while possessing luxury vehicles.
Regarding domestic policy, Trump asserted that his administration achieved the most secure border in American history, claiming zero illegal aliens had been admitted in the previous 17 months. He further stated that the U.S. murder rate had reached its lowest level in 125 years and that poverty rates among various ethnic groups were at historic lows.
