Donald Trump ridicules EV drivers and falsely touts Melania’s film as top box‑office hit at Las Vegas rally

At a campaign rally in Las Vegas, former President Donald Trump said he had “ended the electric mandate,” mocked electric‑vehicle owners by calling their range‑anxiety a “disease,” and cited a 7% market share for battery‑electric cars in the United States.

He also claimed his wife, former First Lady Melania Trump, had produced the number‑one movie of the year. The documentary “Melania: Twenty Days to History” opened with $7 million, cost $75 million to make, received overwhelmingly negative reviews, and ranked behind other releases, never achieving a #1 box‑office position.
