Donald Trump slams NATO and Germany for not backing US in Iran war

In a meeting at the White House, Trump said the United States had spent “hundreds of millions of dollars” on troops stationed in Germany and Europe and asked Germany for a “small kiss” – a modest help – which he said was refused.

Trump also criticized other European partners, including France, Italy and Britain, for what he described as a “betrayal” of the United States, and called for an additional $67.15 billion to be added to the Pentagon’s war budget. Meanwhile, Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad‑Baqer Qalibaf urged Islamic nations to reevaluate their security arrangements and build a new regional system after the conflict.
