Donald Trump supports mail-in and early voting for midterm elections

Donald Trump has shifted his stance on voting methods, now encouraging Republican voters to utilize mail-in and early voting to ensure victory in upcoming midterm elections. In a video message shared on Truth Social, Trump urged citizens to use ‘every available method’ to cast their ballots, specifically advising those in states with early voting options not to wait until election day.

This marks a significant reversal for the former president, who has historically criticized mail-in voting, labeling it a source of potential fraud and previously issuing executive orders to limit its use. Despite these past criticisms, Trump has personally utilized mail-in voting in previous contests, such as a special election in Florida.

As midterm elections approach, early data indicates that Democrats have been more active in early voting compared to Republicans, holding initial leads in several Senate and gubernatorial races.
