Donald Trump tells female reporter to be ‘quiet’ during press exchange

President Donald Trump engaged in a tense exchange with journalists outside the White House, telling MS NOW reporter Akayla Gardner to ‘wait, wait, quiet’ after she asked if he intended to limit the White House press pool to only supportive outlets.

This interaction follows a recent attempt by Trump to ban CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House, a decision a federal judge blocked on Thursday. Despite the ruling, Trump barred CNN from boarding Air Force One on Saturday, replacing the outlet with LindellTV. Trump defended his actions by labeling such outlets ‘fake news’ and claiming they have low ratings, while asserting his support for an ‘open free press’ that provides ‘real news.’

During the same encounter, the president dismissed the notion that women govern better than men as ‘ridiculous,’ despite expressing personal affection for women. Trump has a history of combative interactions with the media, frequently accusing journalists of bias and directing personal insults toward reporters, particularly female journalists.
