Donald Trump threatens 50% tariffs on companies exploiting US investment

In a Fox News interview, President Donald Trump stated that tariffs could be raised to as high as 50% against companies that attempt to exploit the United States despite investing in the country. Trump claimed that the American automotive industry has been encroached upon by Japan, South Korea, and China, asserting that companies are returning to the U.S. to avoid existing 25% tariffs.

Regarding foreign policy, Trump addressed tensions with Iran, stating that a decision must be made to either reach an agreement or “finish it.” While he did not rule out military action, he noted that no attacks would occur that day. Additionally, Trump mentioned that tripartite negotiations involving the United States, Ukraine, and Russia to find a solution to the war are expected to occur soon, though no specific timeline was provided.

Trump also criticized Fox News on social media, alleging the network is not providing favorable coverage to Republican candidates and is spending too much time on their competitors.
