Donald Trump to visit Chillicothe, Ohio, on October 28

Donald Trump is scheduled to visit Chillicothe, Ohio, on October 28, marking his third trip to the state this month. The visit comes during the final stretch of the midterm elections, where Ohio features critical races for governor and the Senate.

In the gubernatorial race, Trump-backed Vivek Ramaswamy is competing against Democratic nominee Amy Acton. The campaign has faced scrutiny following a Ramaswamy advertisement featuring Acton’s mother, Donna Arthur, which questioned Acton’s past. Acton’s brother, Philip Stearns, has supported Acton’s accounts regarding family history.

In the Senate race, Republican Jon Husted is running against Democrat Sherrod Brown. Current polling indicates Acton holds a 3.9% lead in the governor's race, while Brown leads Husted by an average of 2.8%.
