Donald Trump warns of “hardcore communists” and faces scrutiny over personal aide

U.S. President Donald Trump warned that “hardcore, godless communists” are trying to take over the United States, referencing the growing influence of Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) candidates in primaries across New York, Colorado and Michigan. The DSA, founded in 1982 and revived by former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, is now led in New York by mayor Zohran Mamdani, whose allies have recently won local races.

At a recent FIFA reception in Trump Tower, Manhattan, Trump’s personal assistant Natalie Harp, a former television presenter, stayed by his side throughout the event. According to a new book, Harp filters online content, provides briefing material and is described as a “human printer,” influencing the material the president shares on his social‑media platforms.
