Donald Trump's claim regarding Amish autism cases is misleading

Donald Trump shared a claim on Truth Social suggesting that no published case has explicitly documented an unvaccinated Amish child with autism. This claim surfaced amid skepticism regarding public health officials and a measles outbreak in Pennsylvania.

However, the claim is considered misleading based on the 2010 study cited in the graphic. While the study, published by the International Society for Autism Research, screened 1,899 Amish children and identified seven cases of autism, the research paper does not link specific autism diagnoses to individual vaccination statuses. Consequently, the study does not provide evidence to support the assertion that there are zero documented cases of unvaccinated Amish children with autism.
