Donald Trump's golf club bills Secret Service for hot dogs
President Donald Trump has frequently visited his golf properties during his second term, spending more than 1,400 hours at these locations across approximately 165 days in office.
Reports indicate that at the Trump National Golf Club near Washington, D.C., the president often provides hot dogs to those in his orbit, including large groups of Secret Service agents. Due to ethics rules that prohibit agents from accepting gifts from the individuals they protect, the club charges the Secret Service for these meals. To facilitate this, a specific Secret Service account was established at the club to ensure the government is billed for the food provided to the agents.
