Donald Trump’s odd White House press briefing veers to grass and airport woes
At a White House press conference, President Donald Trump abandoned a prepared agenda on the conflicts in Iran and Ukraine to launch a rambling monologue about city parks, saying “Grass is like human beings. Grass is a life also.” He discussed urban clean‑up, security and the removal of tents and barbed wire.
Trump then turned to criticism of public transportation at Dulles International Airport, calling it “totally inefficient,” before senior staff intervened and abruptly ended the briefing.
