President Donald Trump had planned to display the Boeing 747‑8 jet gifted by Qatar’s royal family at his presidential library in downtown Miami after leaving office. The aircraft, valued at about $400 million, was converted for presidential use and sparked security and ethical concerns.

In early August, Eric Trump told NBC News via text that moving the Qatari jet to the library is “not the plan at the moment.” A White House official confirmed that no final decision has been made about which aircraft will ultimately be exhibited.
