Donald Trump's Truth Social Posts Reveal Chaotic Communication Pattern

An analysis of more than 600 Truth Social posts made by former President Donald Trump in a single month shows a disordered stream of consciousness that departs from conventional presidential communication. The posts cluster around three main themes: personal loyalty to “Trump’s GOP,” extensive ideas for reshaping Washington, D.C., and a flood of images and self‑portraits that reinforce a cult of personality. The loyalty‑focused category alone generated 222 posts in May, turning party allegiance into a tally of praise and obedience. Discussions of the capital’s renovation appear in 80 posts, portraying the city as a backdrop for Trump’s personal narrative rather than a public service. The remaining 77 posts concentrate on visual branding, further amplifying Trump’s personal image.

The study concludes that this style blurs the line between state governance and personal fan‑club activity, creating a communication model that prioritizes ego‑driven content over policy‑oriented messaging.
