Donald Tusk accuses Jarosław Kaczyński of being controlled by bad actors
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk addressed Jarosław Kaczyński, leader of the Law and Justice (PiS) party, accusing him of being controlled by bad actors. Tusk urged the opposition to vote for a pending bill, claiming it is in the national interest and essential for their political survival.
Tusk raised allegations regarding the Zondacrypto affair, noting that the prosecutor's office under Zbigniew Ziobro had dismissed investigations into the disappearance of Zondacrypto founder Sylwester Suszek three times. He cited testimony from Przemysław Kral, which suggested that Ziobro had promised to intervene in legal matters once he returned to power at the Ministry of Justice.
The Prime Minister further alleged that compensation for such services was to be paid to Ziobro through a foundation established by his brother, claiming a total amount of 2 million PLN was discussed, with 500,000 PLN already paid.
