Donations fund cleft lip and palate surgeries in Chile and Mexico

In Chile, Club Manquehue is promoting the Fundación Gantz’s 2026 annual fundraising drive, which supports a dedicated hospital for children with cleft lip and palate. The campaign, featuring 10‑year‑old Josefa and singer Álvaro López, seeks contributions of 5,000‑20,000 Chilean pesos or monthly membership to aid the 1,300 active patients and the more than 10,000 people treated since the foundation began.

In Mexico, Senator Waldo Fernández donated 200,000 pesos to the civil association Casa Azul. The funds will finance surgeries for seven children with cleft lip and palate and come from an indemnification payment linked to a legal agreement with Karina Barrón. Both initiatives aim to improve health outcomes and quality of life for affected children.
