Doncaster vehicle collision leaves two dead and four injured

Two people were killed and four others were seriously injured after a vehicle struck a group of pedestrians in Doncaster, England. The incident occurred on Sunday morning on White Rose Way.

According to South Yorkshire Police, a black Mitsubishi L200 first collided with four pedestrians before striking a black Audi and a silver BMW traveling in the opposite direction. Two pedestrians were pronounced dead at the scene. The four other injured individuals were transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

A 30-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of causing two deaths and four serious injuries through dangerous driving, as well as driving in an unfit condition. He has since been released on bail as investigations continue. Authorities are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward to assist in reconstructing the moments leading up to the crash.
