Dong-A Pharmaceutical launches Deep Barrier Pro skincare line

Dong-A Pharmaceutical has launched ‘Deep Barrier Pro’, a high-functionality moisturizing line consisting of five products designed for extremely dry skin. The line focuses on ‘topical moist barrier care’ to repair and strengthen the skin barrier.

The product range includes a cream, lotion, cream wrapping mask, hand cream, and lip gel. These products utilize the company’s proprietary ‘Panthenol Ointment Complex™’, which combines shea butter, panthenol, and allantoin. Additionally, the line incorporates Dong-A Pharmaceutical’s patented LNP technology to enhance the delivery of active ingredients into the skin.

Clinical tests on the flagship Deep Barrier Pro Cream demonstrated an 1.88 times higher skin barrier care effect compared to a control group when treating skin damaged by external physical stimuli. To celebrate the launch, the company is participating in an Olive Young promotion throughout October.
