Dong-A Pharmaceutical's Tempo production plant receives GMP certification

Dong-A Pharmaceutical announced that the Taebong Pyeongdong Plant, which produces the women's hygiene brand Tempo, has received Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification for its tampon product line. The certification was granted by the Gwangju Regional Food and Drug Administration.

The facility manages the entire production cycle, including raw material receipt, manufacturing, inspection, packaging, storage, and shipment. By aligning its existing quality management systems with GMP standards, the plant has strengthened its oversight of the manufacturing process to ensure consistent product quality.

Products included in this certification are Tempo Regular, Tempo Super, Tempo Natural Regular, and Tempo Natural Super. Dong-A Pharmaceutical stated it intends to continue enhancing its manufacturing and quality management competitiveness to meet rising consumer expectations for hygiene products.
