Dong-A ST and Galux partner for AI-driven ADC drug discovery

Dong-A ST has entered into a joint research agreement with Galux, an AI-driven drug discovery company, to identify new antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) drug candidates. The collaboration aims to target novel disease areas for which no approved treatments currently exist.

The partnership will combine Dong-A ST’s ADC development capabilities and linker-payload expertise with Galux’s AI-based antibody design technology. Galux will utilize its ‘GaluxDesign’ protein design platform to engineer antibody candidates using a ‘de novo’ approach, which involves designing protein structures and sequences from scratch based on physicochemical principles.

By integrating AI-driven design with traditional ADC research, the companies intend to validate the feasibility of targeting unexplored proteins and develop best-in-class therapeutic candidates.
