Dong-A ST and Mezoo host heart health screening in Busan

Dong-A ST and Mezoo participated in ‘2026 Pulse Day in BUSAN’ held at P. ARK in Yeongdo-gu, Busan, to commemorate World Pulse Day. The event, co-hosted by the Korean Heart Rhythm Society and Space and Sharing, aimed to raise awareness about arrhythmia and the importance of early detection.

During the event, approximately 120 citizens used the ‘HiCardi’ wearable real-time monitoring device to measure heart rate, ECG, and respiration. The screening identified four individuals with suspected arrhythmia, leading to immediate consultations with specialists. One participant with existing symptoms was advised to seek formal medical diagnosis, while others were provided with guidance on monitoring future symptoms.

In addition to digital health screenings, the event included CPR training led by medical professionals and educational sessions on safe heart rates and arrhythmia management. The program attracted approximately 1,000 participants and featured various activities, including a ‘Morning Rave’ to promote heart health in an engaging atmosphere.
