Dong Luong Commune implements development and community support initiatives

Local authorities and military forces in Vietnam are focusing on community support and economic restructuring following administrative changes. In Dong Luong Commune, the recent merger has created a larger administrative area of over 3,632 hectares with a population of nearly 16,000. Local leadership is prioritizing new management strategies to optimize land use for agriculture, commerce, and industry. Significant investments are being directed toward infrastructure, with 21 projects underway, including 19 rural transport works, totaling 138.9 billion VND in investment decisions.

Simultaneously, provincial military forces are conducting civil affairs activities to strengthen ties with local residents. These efforts include providing financial assistance and labor to rebuild homes for elderly veterans and supporting public works such as drainage clearing and environmental protection. These initiatives aim to ensure social security and political stability while assisting families in difficult circumstances.
