Dong Nai authorities order repairs after Bcons project wall collapse
The Dong Nai People's Committee has issued a directive to urgently inspect and repair a collapsed perimeter wall at the Bcons apartment project in Tam Hiep Ward. The incident occurred on the evening of October 7, when a section of the wall measuring 20 meters in length and 3 meters in height collapsed.
The collapse caused rainwater and mud to flood into the surrounding residential area, impacting the lives and property of local residents. In response, the Dong Nai authorities have ordered the Tam Hiep Ward People's Committee to coordinate with relevant agencies to assess the scene and ensure safety for both the construction site and neighboring communities.
Bcons Construction Investment Joint Stock Company has been instructed to implement immediate corrective measures, resolve the flooding and mud issues, and compensate affected households in accordance with regulations. The Department of Construction will oversee the investigation into the cause of the incident and monitor compliance with construction safety regulations. All relevant units are required to report their progress to the Dong Nai People's Committee by October 13, 2026.
