Dong Nai FC faces crisis in V.League after historic poor start

Dong Nai FC is experiencing a severe crisis in the V.League after a 0-4 defeat against Nam Dinh in round 5. The club has earned only one point from five matches, leaving them at the bottom of the standings.

The team has set two negative historical records for the league: they are the first team to fail to score a single goal in the first five matches of a season, and they hold the lowest goal difference (-10) after five rounds.

Following the recent loss, head coach Viet Thang expressed his intention to discuss his future with club leadership, suggesting he may step down to allow for renewal and help the team improve.
