Đồng Nai police charge suspect in fatal multi-person attack

Police in Đồng Nai have arrested and charged 21-year-old Nguyễn Đức Anh for murder and the unlawful use of military-grade weapons following a mass killing in Bình Minh Commune on September 3.

According to investigators, the suspect sought revenge against a former romantic partner, Đ. T. P. A., after a recent breakup. Unable to enter the girl's home, Đức Anh climbed onto the roof and attempted to break in through a skylight. After being confronted by the girl's father, the suspect moved to an adjacent house belonging to N. V. Q.

Upon entering the neighbor's home, Đức Anh attacked the occupants, resulting in the deaths of a 36-year-old woman and her two children, aged 11 and 1. The husband, N. V. Q., sustained serious injuries but is reported to be out of critical danger.

The incident has sparked discussions among psychologists regarding the dangers of toxic relationships and extreme retaliatory behavior following breakups.
