Dong Nai Province orders demolition of Eros Palace and Vườn Xoài projects

Two long‑standing construction projects in Dong Nai Province – the Eros Palace commercial‑service‑office complex and the Vườn Xoài ecotourism park – were found to have been built without proper permits and in violation of land‑use and environmental regulations. Authorities halted construction in 2018 and later required the owners to dismantle the structures.

The investor of the Eros Palace complex voluntarily began dismantling its B and C zones in August 2025, completing the removal of the remaining A zone by June 2026. The Vườn Xoài park, which expanded from 1.6 ha to about 42 ha over two decades, also began self‑demolition after a 2023 inspection revealed missing investment approvals and land‑use violations. By mid‑2025 the park was being cleared, with authorities issuing fines for the illegal activities.
