Dong Nai rescue efforts continue for driver missing after car swept away by floods

Rescue teams in Dong Nai are searching for a 46-year-old woman believed to be missing after her white car was swept away by floodwaters on Su Van Hanh Street in Binh Long Ward. The incident occurred around 5:00 PM on September 22 following prolonged heavy rainfall that caused deep flooding in the area.

Authorities discovered a mobile phone approximately 50 meters from the scene. Search operations, involving local police, military commands, and civil defense forces, have continued through the night and into September 23. However, rescue efforts have faced significant challenges due to ongoing heavy rain, swift currents, limited visibility, and difficult terrain.
