Dong Thap police return lost diamond rings to US-based Vietnamese citizen

Police in Cao Lanh Ward, Dong Thap Province, have successfully returned two white gold diamond rings to a Vietnamese-American woman who accidentally left them at a hotel.

The woman, born in 1996, reported the loss after inadvertently leaving the jewelry, valued at tens of millions of VND, behind while switching hotel rooms. Following her report, local police coordinated with provincial professional departments to investigate the scene.

Authorities determined that a hotel housekeeper had found the rings while cleaning the room. As there were no signs of criminal intent, the police completed the necessary procedures and returned the intact property to the owner on the same day.
