Dongfeng expands Spanish lineup with Vigo electric SUV
Dongfeng is expanding its presence in the Spanish market with the introduction of the Vigo, an electric SUV designed for urban environments and short trips. Developed in China using the Quantum architecture, the vehicle measures 4.31 meters in length and features a 2.72-meter wheelbase to optimize rear passenger space.
The Vigo is equipped with a 51.87 kWh LFP battery, providing an urban range of up to 521 kilometers and a combined range of 340 kilometers. It is powered by a 120 kW (163 CV) synchronous permanent magnet electric motor that delivers 230 Nm of torque, allowing for a top speed of 150 km/h.
Key design features include a split rear tailgate and a versatile interior. The trunk offers 500 liters of space, expandable to 1,040 liters with the rear seats folded. Additionally, the vehicle includes a 72-liter hidden compartment under the floor and a 49-liter front compartment. The front seats can fold nearly flat, creating a surface of up to two meters for transporting long objects or resting.
