Dongfeng unveils 2026 electric and hybrid vehicle lineup for Italy
Dongfeng, the Chinese automotive manufacturer founded in Wuhan in 1969, has unveiled its 2026 lineup featuring a range of electric and hybrid vehicles for the Italian market. The brand aims to target a general consumer base by offering modern technology and competitive pricing, positioning itself alongside manufacturers like Hyundai and BYD.
The 2026 lineup includes four primary models: the Box, Shine, Mage, and Huge. The Dongfeng Box is an electric city car with a 310 km range and 95 CV, starting at approximately 23,300 euros. The Shine is a compact sedan available in petrol and hybrid versions, while the Mage is a C-SUV designed for families with hybrid options.
Additionally, the Dongfeng 007 is a fastback sedan featuring a range-extender system, where a 1.5-liter petrol engine acts as a generator for the electric motor. This model offers 213 CV and includes advanced interior technology, such as a 15.6-inch central display and a 540-degree camera system, with a price point of 47,900 euros.
