Dongjak-gu launches summer ‘Book Vacance’ library programs

Dongjak-gu in Seoul is hosting a variety of ‘Book Vacance’ programs throughout August to support summer cultural activities for residents of all ages. Eleven local libraries will offer diverse educational and experiential sessions covering topics such as AI, finance, humanities, and media literacy.

Specific offerings include financial education for elementary students at Kkamangdol Library, photography and video editing workshops using the Lightroom app, and lectures on effective reading methods by author Son Min-gyu at Sindaebang Nuri Library. Additionally, expert Dr. Jeon Sang-hoon will discuss future strategies regarding AI digital textbooks and college admissions.

Other activities include portrait drawing classes for adults and picture book art play for families at Kim Young-sam Library. Other participating locations, such as Dongjak English Maru Library and Sadang Solbat Library, will provide storytelling and summer reading programs.
