Dongjak-gu to host 9th Urban Sea Festival in Noryangjin

Dongjak-gu will host the 9th Urban Sea Festival from the 24th to the 25th at the Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market and surrounding soccer field areas. Organized in collaboration with the Suhyup Central Federation and Suhyup Noryangjin Fisheries Co., Ltd., the event is themed ‘Noryangjin, Becoming Seoul’s Sea.’

The festival features a variety of entertainment and culinary programs, including the ‘BLUE SEA Concert’ featuring popular singers such as Kim Yon-ja and Kim Hyun-jung, and the ‘Sea Trot LIVE’ concert. Culinary highlights include a fresh tuna butchering performance by Chef Yang Seung-ho and an auction experience titled ‘Today I am the Auction King.’

Families can participate in various activities such as a wave playground, shrimp catching, and children’s sea fishing. Additionally, a direct sales market will offer regional specialties, and food trucks will provide various snacks. To support local businesses, dining establishments within the fisheries market will offer a 50% discount on table setting fees during the festival period.
