Dongjak-gu to Relocate Heukseok Garage and Build 45‑Space Public Parking Lot

Seoul’s Dongjak District announced that the Heukseok garage, which occupies a 1,680 ㎡ site near Heukseok Market and several universities, will be moved in September to vacant land at the Noryangjin Environmental Support Center. After the relocation, the former garage site will be turned into a surface public parking facility with 45 spaces.

District Mayor Ryu Sam‑young said the project aims to ease parking difficulties for residents and visitors, improve the neighbourhood’s environment, and boost local commerce by providing easier access to the market and nearby campuses.
